Production description
Belgium Blue Limestone Round Bullnose Coping combines blue-grey tones with a honed surface and rounded front edge. The curved profile brings a softer line to pool edges, steps and raised landscape details. Coordinate it with Belgium Blue paving for a unified design, with subtle natural markings adding depth to each piece.
Limestone brings a softer visual character to a landscape, with mineral markings and tonal differences that are part of the stone itself. Blend pieces from several packs during installation so these variations are distributed across the finished area rather than concentrated in one section.
The rounded front edge creates a softer outline than a square profile. Consider how this curve will meet the adjacent paving, corners and changes in level. Review the available dimensions and plan the layout before ordering, allowing for cuts and the detailing required at returns and junctions.
Natural stone benefits from an installation and maintenance system selected for the material and intended location. Confirm substrate preparation, drainage, jointing and sealing requirements with your installer. Use a cleaner suitable for the stone, clean spills promptly and avoid unapproved acidic or abrasive products. Request a sample to assess colour and texture before ordering; samples indicate the general appearance and cannot represent every piece in a complete delivery.

Installation
1. Check the perimeter
Dry-lay the coping, including corners and returns. Confirm dimensions, overhang, joint positions and the relationship to adjoining paving before fixing.
2. Prepare the support
The pool builder or installer should confirm the supporting structure, waterproofing, drainage detail and movement joints for the pool or step construction.
3. Select the fixing system
Use a stone-compatible adhesive or bedding system suitable for the location. Agree any pre-sealing treatment with the adhesive and sealer suppliers first.
4. Fix with full bedding
Support the complete bearing area and edges. Set a consistent line and level, allowing the specified joints; keep movement joints flexible rather than filling them with rigid grout.
5. Protect before use
Remove residue promptly and allow the system to cure. Apply a tested, pool-suitable sealer as specified. Avoid prolonged ponding and maintain pool water within the pool supplier’s recommendations.
